蔡拓，男，1981年出生。2006年7月毕业于洛阳师范学院，获得物理学专业学士学位；2009年7月毕业于四川大学，获得原子分子物理专业（凝聚态方向）理学硕士学位；2016年7月毕业于中国科学院金属研究所（沈阳材料科学国家实验室），获得材料物理化学专业工学博士学位。已在Scientific Reports，Journal of Applied Physics，Solid State Communications， Solid State Sciences等国际专业期刊上发表SCI收录论文近十篇。参与完成两项国家自然科学基金。
主要研究兴趣：材料的第一性原理计算和分子动力学模拟；材料力学性能实验与计算模拟。
